Interdisciplinary Storytelling Shows

What's buried finds its way to the surface.

The Crater represents and produces interdisciplinary storytelling work — built for storytelling festivals, cultural venues, universities, and organizations who want more than entertainment in the room: something with real pressure behind it.

We don't manufacture the pressure. We give it somewhere to go.

GLENN

The story that broke the surface first — inheritance and memory, under real pressure. The most developed show in the slate, and where presenters start.

Ages 16+
Storytelling festivals, cultural venues, universities, corporate wellness

Not a keynote about resilience. Not a eulogy either. GLENN — full title "The Things We Don't Speak About" — sits somewhere a room doesn't expect: Erik's birth coincided with his uncle Glenn's suicide, and the show turns that inheritance into 60 minutes of personal stories and original songs. A solo performance — one performer, one stage.

Co-written and directed with Raphael Rodan, visual design by Mey Rahimi. Premiered at GLÖD Storytelling Festival, Vaasa, Finland, March 2022.

Erik trained through a professional storytelling degree at Amsterdam's Mezrab Storytelling School and has performed at festivals in eight countries. Most recently: a storytelling-and-music residency across three Berlin schools (March 2025) and a GLENN performance at Erzählbühne, Berlin (October 2025).

Who we work with

Four kinds of rooms.

Each show is built to travel — but the pressure behind the booking usually comes from one of these.

Corporate Wellness

Organizations looking for a genuine, reflective experience for staff — not a keynote, not a team-building exercise.

Private Events

Hosts and organizers wanting a storytelling performance as the centerpiece of a gathering.

Educational Institutions

Universities booking GLENN for its honesty about identity and meaning. Primary schools booking Märchen und Musik, our storytelling-and-music program for younger audiences — most recently a two-day residency across three Berlin schools, March 2025.

Cultural Institutions

Festivals, venues, and presenters programming interdisciplinary and narrative-driven performance.
